- Do you sell the RightShift at physical retail stores?

Yes. The RightShift is sold at InMotion and Airport Wireless Stores around the country.
- How can I tell when my keyboard needs to be charged?

The “charge light” will turn on when your Solid Line keyboard needs to be charged.
- How do I order an item that is out-of-stock?
-
You may still order the item, and we’ll ship it as soon as it’s available. While we will request authorization, we will not charge your credit card until we ship the item.
- How do I return a gift that was purchased from you?
-
We’re sorry that your gift isn’t right for you. Please call us at 1-877-943-3888 between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific, Monday-Friday. We will need to know who made the purchase for you. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser’s account. Alternatively, we can process a gift exchange for you for another item. Note that you will have to create your own Solid Line account before we can process an exchange.
- How do I return an item I’ve purchased from you?

Send an email to customerservice@solidlineproducts.com with PRODUCT RETURN REQUEST on the subject line. Tell us your name, address, telephone numbers, order number and the reason for your return. Within 24 hours of receipt, we will send you an email with a mailing label that you can print. If you are unable to print out the label for some reason, we will happily send you one via snail mail. Please allow 7-10 business days for the label to arrive if you choose the snail mail option.
Place the item in its original packaging in a shipping box and affix the label. Make sure that you remove or cover any old labels. Use a black marker to cover any existing bar codes. Drop off the box at any authorized Fedex shipping location. Go to www.fedex.com to find one closest to you. - How do I use my gift certificate or coupon code?

All gift certificates and coupon codes may be used during the checkout process.
- How is this keyboard different from the iPad™ Keyboard Dock?

First, the iPad™ keyboard isn’t portable and you need the iPad Dock to make it work! Solid Line’s Bluetooth® keyboard, on the other hand, is so portable that it’s literally part of the leather case you’ll use to protect your iPad! Second, because the Solid Line keyboard doesn’t need the iPad Dock to work, you can keep that 30-pin connector on your iPad for other devices.
- How long does it take to set it up to work with my iPad?

No more than a minute or two. You simply turn on the keyboard, click Settings on your iPad, then Bluetooth, and follow the prompts to pair the two. It’s that simple.
- How long will I be able to use my Solid Line keyboard when it’s fully charged?

The Solid Line keyboard provides 90 hours of continuous use when fully charged, so unless you’re typing 24 hours a day, a fully charged battery should last you several weeks. It takes 4 – 4.5 hours to fully charge the built-in lithium battery.
- How long will take for me to get my refund?

It will take 5-7 days for your return to reach our Fulfillment Center, where your return will be inspected within 72 hours of receipt. Once the return is confirmed and approved for refund by our Fulfillment Center, we will process your refund according to your original method of payment, i.e., we'll refund your credit card or send your funds through Paypal within 5 days. Please note that your credit card company may take an additional 2-10 business days before applying it to your account.
- How much does the case weigh?

The keyboard and case weighs 1.6 lbs.
- I have other Bluetooth® devices. Won’t the keyboard be confused as to which device it’s connected to?

No. Bluetooth products must be paired before they can work together.
- I just placed an order for a personalized cover. When can I expect to receive it?

Custom covers are printed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt. Unless you opted for expedited shipping, you can expect standard ground shipping times of 5-7 business days.
- I made some edits to an image, and I don’t want to keep them. How do I start over?

Delete the unwanted item from your shopping cart, and start over. If you accidentally check out before you do this, email customerservice@solidlineproducts.com, or call us at 1-877-943-3888. If it’s after hours or you don’t reach anyone, be sure to leave a message as our team is alerted of all messages.
- Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Yes. We take a number of electronic and physical measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access. Solid Line Products uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to enable encrypting of sensitive information while you conduct transactions on our site. Further, under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. Notify your bank immediately for any unauthorized use.
- My Bluetooth Keyboard worked great until I had to charge it. Ever since then, the Bluetooth connection keeps getting disconnected, and I have to keep going into iPad settings and reconnecting.

Try turning off the power on your iPad and the keyboard. See if that fixes the problem. If you’re still having trouble, please email us at customerservice@solidlineproducts.com, and we’ll see what we can do to get you going.
- What are the dimensions of the case if you’ve got the keyboard built-in?

With the iPad in the case, the dimensions are 9.75” tall, 8” wide, and 1” thick.
- What do the F-keys do?

Consult an application’s user guide to determine if it uses the function keys that come with your keyboard. Or push the different function keys while you’re working within an application to determine which ones work with your favorite apps! Use the chart below as a guideline.

- What payment options do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal for all orders. - What type of battery is built into your case and does it come with the AC adapter for recharging?

The RightShift has a built-in lithium battery. It also comes with a USB – micro-USB cable that connects to the iPad charger.
- Why can’t I return my personalized iPad cover?

Unfortunately, we do not allow refunds on custom printed covers since they’re made especially for you using your image(s). The Bluetooth® keyboard itself, if you elected to add it as an option, may be returned for a refund, subject to our return policy.
- Why would I want a keyboard for my iPad™?

The iPad is a fabulous multimedia device, but “touch” typing is just not possible on a touch screen. The Solid Line keyboard makes it easy to take notes, send emails, and type in URLs.
- Will using Bluetooth® affect my iPad’s battery life?

If there is an effect, it’s negligible.
