Rachael Taylor is a fun, enthusiastic, creative designer and textile artist whose popular label, Rachel Taylor Designs, is featured in stores throughout the United Kingdom.
Originally from the Wirral, Merseyside in the United Kingdom, Rachael graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Textile & Fashion Design in 2005.
Her signature style features layered textures and quirky, hand-drawn lines. Her patterns are spontaneous: Rachael loves to draw with both her right and left hand — sometimes with her eyes closed! Taking inspiration from everything around her, Rachael’s motifs are influenced by her mood and personality, leading to unique patterns full of happiness and energy. In 2009, she was awarded the title of “The Happiest Person in Britain 2009” because of her cheerfully excited Twitter posts.
Her designs are featured in interior design accessories, packaging, clothing, and ceramics throughout Europe, but they’re quickly being discovered by design lovers outside of the UK.
